MAXIMO ELIZONDO

  THE COLORS ARE FLYING !!!

His brief stays in Mexico and Bolivia are probably the reason of such a powerful and free palette, maybe his experience with the likeable Maria Jose Fernandez de la Puente, with who Máximo started his learning, or with Ricardo Garabito, both masters of missing the real, was the way in which Maximo opened the door of his own universe.

The truth is that in Maximo Elizondo´s world you can find a satirical face, humor and an overflow of joy because his only rule is to respect freedom.

The Expansion of the Now

Perhaps one of the most amusing exercises to do when you visit a Máximo Elizondo exhibit is to observe the other visitors.  O perhaps, even better, to take a closer look at ourselves.  Contemplating the dance of our eyes as we traverse each stroke among the endless artworks.  Here and there, strange figures travel and unfold in a small world of infinite dimensions.
