When asked about the origins of “generative art” and his own contribution to that movement, Miguel Ángel Vidal replies with explanations that reveal the impact produced in him by everything new taking place in this century after post-impressionism: his words can be summed up by saying that the technological revolution, coincidental with his own feelings and intuitions, has driven him to seek a rigourous, clean, sober form of plastic expression that ended in the pure line which relates him to constructivism and concrete art.
