Geometric Abstraction which emerged almost a century ago and has run its course ever since, has experienced a boom which demonstrates its presence today, and manifests a diversity of perspectives caused by the passing of time.
The exercise of retrospective observation brings about new meaning and contradictions in the perspective of individuals and groups of works, amongst other results.  Some of these conditions unite the present exhibition which features two parts:  works of Eduardo Mac Entyre from the 1950's and an eclectic panorama of argentine artists who worked with geometry and its origins between 1958 and 2007, the dates of the earliest to most recent works.

Eduardo Mac Entyre has been actively painting for 60 years.
The works which best characterize the artist are those constructed with extreme precision by drawing perfect multiplied and concentric lines, carried out with a handling of bold contrast in color and light effects.  The style was not developed suddenly but instead was the result of laborious and time consuming experimentation which took place beforehand.
Within this context the renovated interest and the renewed attention cited, appears this group of works on paper realized by Mac Entyre at the beginning of the 50's and slightly before the start of his research into generative art forms.  These works have been kept within the artists studio until today.
